JOB TITLE: Outside Sales Professional

Are you a persuasive self-starter, strong closer and results driven sales professional? Are you willing to work with a reputable company as part of a team, and control your own success? If you can answer yes to these questions we are interested in you.


For more than 30 years, Danmer Custom Shutters, a fast-growing and profitable company, has focused entirely on manufacturing and installing high quality custom shutters made to fit any shape of window or any type opening.

Job Description:
  • The company will assist you with qualified leads. We will train and supply you with sales & marketing materials you need to be successful.
  • You'll be responsible for running preset and self generated appointments by calling on homeowners in your assigned territory.
  • You'll be selling Danmer Custom Shutters by meeting with homeowners, presenting product feature & benefits and recommending the finest custom shutters to fit the exact specifications for their windows and door openings.
  • You'll be responsible for completing sales agreements and worksheets with pricing, measures, specifications, adjustments etc.
  • You'll coordinate information with installers, customer service and production.
  • You'll maintain excellent client relationships to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • You'll attend monthly sales meetings and weekly conference calls to maintain professional and technical knowledge.
Job Requirements:
  • At least 5 years of outside sales experience with proven record of sales results. In home sales preferably.
  • Strong ability to contact, negotiate, and close sales opportunities with potential clients.
  • Excellent communication skills; written, oral & presentation
  • Team player with positive attitude
  • Proficient with basic computer & internet skills
  • Must own reliable transportation

JOB TITLE: Telesales / Appointment Setting

Job Description:
Make outbound calls to have appointments set, from an assortment of lead sources including 1) Segments of the current customer database, 2) Danmer’s extensive presence at home shows, fairs, and festivals throughout the state of California and Nevada, and 3) Purchased databases. 
 
Job Skills Requirements:
At least two (2) years of telesales experience – preferably at the same company.  You must be money motivated, focused, a Team player, and be able to surpass our goals – day in and day out.  You must also be capable of learning a variety of scripts for various campaigns, and your communication skills must be highly effective.  Following policies, procedures, and adapting to change will also help you succeed in this position.
 
Salary:
$12-$15 per hour, depending on experience.  Incentives run between $1 and $20 per completed appointment, based upon what telesales campaign you may be working for any particular day.  A Call Center Bonus program also kicks in if the company reaches its monthly sales goals.  This is an incentive based environment, and your rewards will be substantial if your skills are correctly applied.
