Q: What is Thermalite?

A: Thermalite is a synthetic material that Danmer helped develop. It looks and feels just like wood, and it is moisture-resistant, fire-retardant, and it insulates up to three times better than wood. When you schedule your free in-home consultation, your design consultant will bring samples of our wood and synthetic shutters, so you can see the difference for yourself.

Q: How much do Danmer shutters cost?

A: Because all of our products are custom-made, we price our shutters by the job, not by the square foot. Our design consultants will work with you to design shutters that are not only aesthetically pleasing, but a great value as well. We are well aware that the easiest design isn’t always the best design.

Q: How soon can I get my new shutters?

A: We usually design, measure, manufacture, and install in as little as 14 days. When our design consultant places your order, you will be given a “dock date” when your shutters will be completed. We are proud to say that in all the years we have been in business, we have never missed a “dock date.” You can also monitor the progress of your order and access to your Personalized Tracking Page. Click on Customer Login, enter your username & password and you're now able to check your order status.

Q: How long will my design appointment take?

A: In order to properly design, measure, and provide a free estimate, your design consultant will require at least 30-45 minutes, depending on your questions.
