The Quality of a Danmer Shutter

Danmer’s custom shutters are hand-crafted by experienced craftspeople in our Southern California production facilities. We have one product – shutters – and we do shutters better than anyone.

You can choose from among our classic Wood shutters or Danmer's two types of synthetic shutters: our premier Thermalite Shutters or our V-Line Shutters. All our shutters are covered by the most comprehensive warranty in the industry. Our warranty is also transferable to subsequent homeowners, should you ever sell your home.

Danmer has been building custom shutters for over 30 years, and we have innovated several processes and components of our shutters, creating the most technologically-advanced shutter in the industry.

Some of Our Innovations:

  • The patented Duraglide louver tension system, which is guaranteed to keep consistent tension on your louvers for the life of the shutter.
  • Our specialized staples, which secure the tilt rod to the louvers, and are guaranteed never to pull loose.
  • Our Diamond Coat Finish process. An environmentally friendly, water based painting process that yields a beautiful, lustrous, “piano-like” finish.
  • Fine hardwood for beautiful and durable painted wood shutters.
  • All of our shutter panels are mortised, and rabbeted, to minimize light leakage.

Additionally, Danmer employs our own design and installation staff. All of our designers and installers go through extensive training so that they can design, build and install shutters that truly fit to your needs.

We offer numerous framing options, many color and finishing options, and custom-color matching. We strive to fit our shutters to your home décor -- not the other way around. Unlike many of our competitors, there's no job that's too complex for us!
